Community Engagement Specialist / Social Media Manager

The Greater Hillsdale Humane Society went under a total renovation September 2019. Along with the renovation of the building came a redesign of the brand. Our humane society had a negative perception in our community, and part of my job as a content creator was to create a positive voice for the shelter. 

The main target for social media is Facebook, as the shelter targets an older demographic. After starting our Facebook page in January, we have 1.6K followers and average 7K reach on each post. 

Along with the rebrand- I created a more user-friendly website where people could see all the adoptable animals, as well as see ways to get involved and community resources. This website rebrand has gone hand-in-hand with our new social media outreach and community involvement in order to create a happy place the city of Hillsdale can be proud of!
